Wagon Robbers Rules

Setup
Shuffle and split the cards into 4 decks based on their card type: Role, Passenger, Wagon and Cargo

Then, pick someone to deal cards & give each player:
- 1 Bounty Hunter
- 1 Outlaw
- 2 Cargo cards

Starting the game
1. Start by dealing 1 cargo card to each player.

2. The dealer draws and reveals the top wagon card, and each player must decide if they want to be an Outlaw and attack the wagon, or a Bounty Hunter and defend the wagon.

3. Starting to the player to the left of the dealer, each player places their role card face down, keeping it hidden from the other players.

4. Each wagon lists the number of battle prep rounds at the bottom.

Battle Prep
1. At the start of each battle prep round, the dealer reveals a passenger card who will be bringing power to the defend the wagon in the battle.

2. Starting to the left of the dealer, each player can choose to place one of their cargo cards face down. A cargo card can either be a weapon with a power amount, or an item with an action written on it.

3. Once all players have had the chance to place a cargo card, you start the next round, until the number of rounds written on the wagon have been met.

The Reveal and Battle
1. The dealer reveals the remaining passengers; at this point no other cargo can be placed.

2. Starting to the left of the dealer, each player reveals what role they picked.
3. Once all the roles have been declared, if a player chooses to be an assassin, they reveal it now. An assassin is an Outlaw with 3 knives in play and can assassinate & steal the played cards of an enemy bounty hunter. If assassinated, that Bounty Hunter is out for the round, and their cards given to their killer who places them in their hand.

4. In the same order, each player reveals what items and weapons they brought to the fight. 5. Add up all the Outlaw power and compare it against the Bounty Hunter power + Wagon power

Battle Outcome
Bounty hunter wins:
For every Outlaw revealed, each Bounty Hunter receives 1 cargo card as a reward. If there are no Outlaws, no reward is collected.

Outlaw win:
- Starting with the Outlaw with the highest power, take turns drawing a cargo card until the number of cargo on the wagon has been reached. If there is more cargo than Outlaws, it goes back to the top Outlaw and continues down.

- The Outlaw with the highest power claims the wagon card. If a player acquires 3 wagon cards they win the game.

- If multiple Outlaws tie, a standoff is in order to determine who wins.

Tie / Standoff
If two or more competing players have the same power, a standoff occurs. Each player involved draws a cargo card and places it face down in front of them. The dealer counts down "3… 2… 1… DRAW" and each player then reveals their card. The player with the highest card wins. If there is another tie, you repeat the Standoff until a winner is declared. How to Win the Game The first player to win 3 Wagon Cards is declared the winner.
